Stephen Jones of Clear Solutions has been shortlisted for Financial Adviser of the Year at the 2017 Growth Investor Awards, which is sponsored by LGBR Capital. The awards recognise innovation and impact in SME investment in the UK, as well as celebrating forward thinking intermediaries who promote alternative investments and tax-advantaged venture capital schemes as part of their investment proposition.
Launched by Intelligent Partnership in 2015, the Growth Investor Awards recognise those that are helping start-up and ‘scale-up’ businesses realise their full potential and power Britain’s economy. As well as celebrating the contribution made by intermediaries through awards such as Financial Adviser of the Year and Wealth Manager of the Year, this year’s expanded awards programme features a total of 16 categories including Growth Champion of the Year, Most Impactful Investment, Best Angel Syndicate and Corporate Investor of the Year.
Stephen Jones of Clear Solutions will be competing in the Financial Adviser of the Year category alongside five fellow finalists, they are Alistair Candlish of Carrington Investments, Dennis Hall of Yellowtail Financial Planning, Jonothan McColgan of Combined Financial Strategies, Nick Reeves of Tilney and Vanessa Townshend of Springfield Financial. The winner will be announced at an exclusive black tie awards dinner for 450 guests, which will be held on Wednesday 8th November at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

Finalists will now move on to a second round of judging to determine the winner in each award category. An Advisory Board of prominent figures representing different sections of the investment and SME community, will be called on to evaluate the strength of each finalist’s entry.
